Course Overview

This course serves as an in-depth understanding of public policy analysis and contemporary Japanese politics. Students are expected to display their knowledge of public policy analysis through various readings on Japanese politics and policymaking processes. At the end of the course, students are expected to present a research project relevant to their M.A. thesis.

Evaluation will be based on regular class attendance, oral presentation and submission of research proposals.
