Learning Achievement
Motivation: The particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation method is the method of choice for studying problems on a small (kinetic) scale in 1 Space plasmas. 2 Laboratory plasmas. 3 Astrophysical plasmas. This course aims at familiarizing students with the underlying numerical scheme and some properties of the simulation plasma.
