Course Overview
This seminar is an advanced course in international development issues and policies. It deals with contemporary topics and challenges in development economics and reviews the latest analytical tools to understand development policy challenges in African, Asian and Latin American countries. Students are required to make extensive reading and make presentations in the seminar and to participate in discussions and reviews of recent contributions in the field of development economics. SSIDP AI and AII are sequential and deal with broad themes in development economics and policy issues. SSIDP AI focuses on theoretical and analytical issues in development economics.
