Course Overview
Introduction to basics in statistics and data analysis inenvironmental and geophysical sciences. Practical work is conductedusing the R environment.

- Correct written and oral competences in English. - Knowledge of basic software (e.g. word, Excel). - Bachelor degree level knowledge in Earth and/or Life Sciences, orPhysics, or Chemistry.
Grading Philosophy
> First Session: - 1 practical exam of 1.5 h (50% of overall mark). - 1 written exam of 1.5 h (50% of the overall mark).> Second Session: - 1 written exam of 1.5 hour, or, - 1 oral exam (50% of the overall mark).The student needs a mark of 100/200 to validate this module.
