Course Overview

Application of the concept of binary phase diagram. Students learn how
to establish them and how to use them to understand microstructure
formation. Basic concepts of Metallography are introduced.

- Structural hardening and Metallography

Course prerequisites

- High-school diploma.
- Students should have already followed lectures in Materials Science
(Bachelor courses / semesters 2 and 3).

Grading Philosophy

Reports at the end of each session.
