Course Overview
The learning objectives of the course are: - Introduction to research in biological anthropology and archeologyfrom the design of a scientific project to the production of outreachmaterials - Development of teamwork skills in the organization of a scientificevent - Construction of a relevant bibliography - Writing and reviewing of a communication abstract - Scientific conference: preparation of a poster and presentation,networking with scientists from the same and related fields.

- Basic knowledge in biological anthropology and archeology (asdelivered during the first semester of Biogeosciences) - Good level of English
Grading Philosophy
- Poster design and content (50%) - 15-minute oral presentation (50%)
Course schedule
Students are responsible for the organization of a poster symposiumbased on an important research topic within the domain of biologicalanthropology and/or archeology. The students form the organizationaland scientific committees of the symposium and interact withscientists in the preparation of their poster/presentation at theevent.
