Course Overview

Improve reading and writing skills related to technical English.

Learning Achievement

(1) Familiarizes with the format followed by the vast majority of papers published in scientific journals today.

(2) Acquaint with a good idea to write short, clear sentences and put words in a sentence in the correct order.

(3) Capable of writing a good title and concise abstract that reflect writing skills

(4) Proficient in writing introduction and understanding how to paraphrase other people’s work without plagiarism

(5) Know the various ways of Structuring Paragraphs and Sentences to make the research work writing easy to read.

(6) Expertise in simple way of presentation of the results and methods with well-organized content to make accessible to the reader

(7) Skilled in explaining concise sentences using fewer words without losing any important content.

Writing skill of Research papers are indented to demonstrate a student’s academic knowledge of a subject. This subject is very useful for undergraduate engineering student to write a clear and concise article. When attending the lecture, students are advised to take notes to gain a better understanding
