Improve reading and writing skills related to technical English.

Learning Achievement

You will learn that 1) Understanding structure and expression of scientific papers and 2) How you can write scientific papers. And this lecture will be conducted in English.

Course prerequisites

Grading Philosophy

1. (45 %) Students should submit an English essay about their understanding of the writing of the scientific paper.
2. (55 %) Students should submit a short review for a selected scientific paper.

Week 4: Redundancy/Conciseness

Week 6: Introduction, Paraphrasing
