Course Overview
This course offers an inroduction to the characterization of materialsfrom structural (X-ray diffraction) to microstructural (thermalanalysis, metallography, Energy Dispersive spectroscopy and ScanningElectron Microscope imaging).

- Students should have already followed lectures in Materials Science(Bachelor courses/semesters 2 and 3).
Grading Philosophy
- Reports at the end of each session - 1 written exam at the end of the period (2 hours)
