Course Overview

This course helps students to understand the basics of genes and genomes and enable them to develop critical thinking in medical science.

Learning Achievement

Introduction and discussion on basic topics in Molecular Biology with an emphasis on the application in medical science research. Students are expected to understand the basic concept in Molecular Biology techniques and to apply the knowledge in their experimental plans for their thesis research.

Understanding of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry.
