Course Overview
The course "Tribology" provides a basic knowledge on contact, friction, wear and lubrication. Besides the basic knowledge described above, this course would provide the example of practical application of tribology.
Learning Achievement
1. Differentiate and explain technical terms in tribology field. 2. Analyze and explain the functions of tribological phenomena appeared in industrial products. 3. Select the suitable model of the simple contact, sliding or rolling contact phenomena using fundamental tribology knowledge. 4. Combine the fundamental scientific knowledge and the problems in the modern tools which is necessary in tribology field.
