Course Overview

The University of Tsukuba launched the “Employing the University Wisdom to Fight against the COVID-19 Crisis” programme to deal with COVID-19 in 2020, and the programme adopted twenty-seven projects. Projects include virology, medicine, biology, health science, mathematical science, informatics, education, social psychology, social policy, economics, and arts. These diverse areas indicate the wideness of the research at the University of Tsukuba. Scholars from six faculties share their knowledge based on the projects to encourage students to acquire interdisciplinary perspectives to think about science and society in the post-COVID-19 era.

Grading Philosophy

期末レポート100%
「新型コロナによって変化したこと、変化しなかったことは何か」について、2000字以上の期末レポートを作成してください。本科目の2回以上、できれば3回以上の講義に関連させてください。
なお、積極的な授業参加には加点される可能性があります。

Course schedule

授業は基本的に日本語で実施します。第3回は英語で実施しますが、英語に自信のない学生の受講も歓迎します。
授業タイトルは全て仮題です。

新型コロナの影響について関心のあるあらゆる学生の履修をお待ちしています。

授業実施形態はオンラインを予定しており、基本的に同時双方向型で実施します。
