Variational Methods and PDEs for Image Processing University of Bordeaux
Course Overview
The objective of this class is to present variational approaches andpartial differential equations in image processing. Students learn tomathematically model image processing problems and to bring thedesired qualitative property of the model in terms of mathematicalmodeling. Students master the fundamentals in order to be able to adaptclassical variational models and PDE to situations they mightencounter in their future professional life. Practical lab sessions illustrate the theoretical principles developedduring the course.
