Variational Methods and PDEs for Image Processing University of Bordeaux

Course Overview

The objective of this class is to present variational approaches and
partial differential equations in image processing. Students learn to
mathematically model image processing problems and to bring the
desired qualitative property of the model in terms of mathematical
modeling.

Students master the fundamentals in order to be able to adapt
classical variational models and PDE to  situations they might
encounter in their future professional life.

Practical lab sessions illustrate the theoretical principles developed
during the course.
