Course Overview
This course is a comprehensive examination of the nature, extent and consequences of white-collar crime with emphasis on the law and social control from the criminal justice perspective. At the completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Communicate about the nature and extent of different types of white-collar crime. 2. Evaluate the consequences of white-collar crime in a contemporary society. 3. Discuss the responses to white-collar crime from the criminal justice perspective.
