Course Overview

The goal of this course is to produce a statue of head made of clay using a model, it also aims to develop fundamental abilities of expression in three-dimentional format grasped through actual production.

Course schedule

You will produce a clay sculpture of a head based on a human model. Through production, you will develop basic skills in understanding three-dimensional shapes and expressing them.
Yoshiki Shibata: Explanation of the theme, responding to the model etc.
Yoshiki Shibata: Sketching, assembling the armature rod
Yoshiki Shibata: Production I (roughly building up clay)
